Schellpfeffer Recognized for 40 Years of Service
On Tuesday, February 20, Linda Schellpfeffer was recognized by WBA President and CEO Rose Oswald Poels with the Association’s 40-Year Lifetime Service Award. In 1984, Schellpfeffer began her career at Horicon Bank as a teller and customer service representative. During her tenure at the bank, Schellpfeffer has served various areas including consumer loan, collections, and the marketing department. For the last ten years, Schellpfeffer has overseen Horicon Bank’s Gliding Free Club (club for senior customers) where she has increased participation by more than 128%.
In February 2024, Schellpfeffer will be retiring from her role as a customer relations officer and Gliding Free Club coordinator. Schellpfeffer exemplifies a caring, community banker and takes the opportunity to talk to each Glider, offer hugs, check on their families, tell jokes, and provide the kind of high-quality customer care the Horicon Bank brand promises.
