Sherman Park Grocery Receives FHLBank Chicago Accelerate Grant

A long-time lending customer of Spring Bank, Maurice “Moe” Wince, recently received a $25,000 grant for improvements to his local grocery store. The Accelerate Grant was provided to Wince from FHLB of Chicago, along with an additional contribution of $2,5000 made by Spring Bank. This grant has helped Sherman Park Grocery to continue to make improvements to their community enhancing business. Sherman Park Grocery will undoubtedly continue their mission of providing healthy, and accessible food options to their customers as well as continuing their community serving business and philanthropic practices.
