Nicky Jensen Receives WNB Financial Community PRIDE Award
WNB Financial is pleased to announce Nicky Jensen, loan operations representative, as the recipient of its 2024 first quarter Community PRIDE Award.
Community PRIDE Awards recognize WNB employees for exceptional volunteer service to programs, organizations, and initiatives that contribute to the strength and vitality of the communities served. This includes volunteering efforts made during and outside of work hours.
Jensen volunteers many hours to Wabasha Kellogg Public Schools, most frequently with the Parent Teacher Organization, treasurer of JO Volleyball, the 6th Grade Social, and the PAX Student Exchange Program. She’s also a board member and treasurer of the Wabasha Lions Club, helping to plan the Grumpy Old Men Festival curling fundraiser with the Wabasha-Kellogg Chamber of Commerce in 2024.
As a Community PRIDE Award recipient, Jensen received $100 to donate to a local non-profit organization of her choice, which she chose to donate to the Wabasha Lions Club. In addition, she received a certificate of recognition and a bank logo shirt.
In 2023, 61 WNB Financial employees donated 2,776 hours of service to 120 local organizations. WNB gifted over $405,000 to the community in the areas of education and youth programs, health and wellness, community service, fine arts and culture, and economic development.
